These legendary chocolate candies are named after an ancient Estonian folk instrument. The first information about this instrument comes from more than two millennia ago and was first mentioned in writing in 1579. Delicious Kannel chocolate candies from 1974 hide a melt-in-the-mouth almond praline filling covered with a wonderful dark chocolate glaze. The final finish – a light brown velvety appearance – is given by rolling the candies in mixture made from chocolate flakes and sugar.
